ABOUT US
We are the University of Michigan Women's ultimate frisbee program. Recognized by university club sports, we travel across the country to compete against other high-level programs. Flywheel consists of many different members, from freshmen who picked up their first disc at tryouts to grad students who have been playing for years. Since our inception in 1989, we have qualified 13 times for the National College Championships — most recently in 2021.
THE TEAMS
The FlyFam consists of two teams: Flywheel and B-Fly. Flywheel travels to challenge nationally-ranked opponents. B-Fly competes in regional tournaments, working to develop each player. Both teams value commitment and share one community to push each other to be better athletes, teammates, students, and humans.
